My Brother's Birthday Card

Here is the card I made for my brother, it was his birthday yesterday so we all went up to Wales to see him for the day and had a really lovely time.
I used papers from Papermania's for him pack, an Edwin/Tilda stamp that my blogging friend Laura sent me coloured with whispers pes. The stars are cut on my Slice and have button holes in them so I threaded a piece of blue ribbon through three of them to make a decorative corner embellishment, I also added one to the ribbon at the bottom and a larger one to the side of the image. The letters are from the neon mini alphabet sizzix die.

Magnolia Vs Stampavie Challenge

I made this card last night for the Magnolia Vs Stampavie sketch challenge, Its only just in time!
I used papers from Pink petticoat, Tilda with Rose stamp coloured with whispers pens and watercolour pencils as there isn't a good red in the whispers set, and Whiff of Joy sentiment stamp.
I was going to upload a baby's 1st Christmas card tonight to show you but I haven't edited the photos yet so will have to show you it tomorrow instead.

Don't forget you can still enter the draw for the stickers in the post below, not many entries so far, does everyone hate stickers that much?? lol x

Friendship card

I had a great afternoon crafting yesterday after a morning shopping with my mum. I managed to make the image/card swap cards I needed to.

I made this card for my image swap partner. The image swaps have now been banned from the docrafts forum, which I am quite sad about as I received some lovely cards and images from fellow members, one of whom 'made' me go and buy some Tilda stamps after sending me some in a swap- I'm blaming you for my recent purchases Laura!!!

I used my new (and first ever) Tilda with sunflower stamp. The papers are from a kit called Homespun by A Tanabe and was downloaded a while ago, unfortunately i cannot find a link for it now. Flowers are prima daisy's, the leaves are from a grass punch by woodware which I got recently and can see I'll be using a lot. The sentiment is from bekahs-escape2scrapland and the ribbon is from chatterbox.
Here are some close ups

Inside I have made a pocket running along the bottom to hold teh stamped images.
I also made a card as a little surprise for a crafty friend from the docrafts forum, so I can't post a picture until she has received it as I don't want to ruin the surprise.
I'm trying to finish the next two months of my calendar but I seem to have lost all inspiration for it at the moment!

Shabby Chic Tilda

Used the same papers for this card as the previous one, Summertime designs Beautimous Kit, a Tilda image kindly sent to me by Laura, prima hydrangea flowers, doodlebug button, papermania sparkly brads, iridescent glitter glue, butterfly eyelets, chatterbox ribbon. Comments welcome! x

Tristans back from his holiday now so I wont have as much time for crafting, but I do have a good camera to use again!
