Vintage Christmas bag

I made this little gift bag using the tutorial from here. I used cream card and embossed it with the snowflakes cuttlebug folder, added a red/burgundy flower, gold brad and a matching bow.
Thank you to Helen for this award, I would like to give it to everyone who left a lovely comment on my last post about my new single status! So it goes to Elaine, Vicky, Laura, Lyndsey, Joy, Lesley, Mar g, Gina, Lana, Sarita, Pauline, Nessie and Rica, the wording that goes along with the award is: 'This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY- nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement . Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to 8 bloggers who may then pass it on.'
Also thank you to Lana who tagged me, you can see my previous answers here.

Quick Cuttlebug Cards

I've not been doing much crafting at the moment, I split up with my boyfriend this week so I've not been in the mood to craft much, although at least I'll have more spare time to craft now, see there's a bright side to most things! A bloke asked me out for a drink while I was doing my food shopping in Tesco the week before, I was so shocked! Im thinking now that I should have said yes! Hahaha.

I thought I'd share with you a set of very quick thank you cards which I made quite a while ago, they are very plain and simple, which as you have seen is not usually my style!
They were made just by embossing the top 2/3 of the card with the embossing folders, scoring 2 lines to fit the ribbon and sentiment in, then embossing the bottom 1/3. The sentiments are stamped in a colour that matches the ribbons. I cut a slit each side of the sentiment then threaded the ribbon underneath it, wrapped the ribbon around the card and tied it in a bow.

Psychic Sarah

Have you been over to the Sugarnellie blog lately? the new designer is Suzanne of Gorjuss, who I mentioned in this post, wow I must be psychic, or just know great talent when I see it! I will defiantly be buying some of her stamps, I was thinking of investing in a picture of hers for my craft room, I love the picture of the girl on a unicorn.

Anyways on to today's card. Its for an order so not for my brother, I still have yet to make all my Christmas cards!
I used a DL card, chipboard letters as templates onto DCWV card stock, then glittered them in red Doodlebug Sugar coating. The paper is from Dovecraft.

Cheddar

Meet Cheddar the cute little mouse, he is from Sugarnellie and you can buy him here. Isn't he the cutest little mouse.
I used papers and the frame from Summertime Designs gratitude kit, prima flowers and chatterbox ribbon, the leaves are from my stash. The flowers I added a gromlet to the centres then stuck a pearl gem in them, I also added one to the bottom corner of the frame. I put gloss on the border, the mouse's nose and his book cover. I coloured him with whispers pens and then shaded the darker bits with a pencil as I couldnt quite get the shade of grey I wanted, I then added highlights with a white gel pen.

I've been looking at some amazing blogs of peoples art work, I really wish I could draw, but sadly I cannot draw at all, not even stick men! Here are some of my faves:
Little Gorjuss Things
My Place Over The Hill
May Ann Licudine
Donna Doodles
