In the comments on my last card Claire asked how long it takes me to make a card, well this one took me about 3 hours from start to finish- however I sit at my computer desk so a lot of that time is spent blog hopping, fiddling about with the sentiment in MS Publisher, looking at craft forums and generally wasting time!

Once again I've gone embellishment crazy with buttons bows and flowers, I don't do simple and elegant though so it should be expected!.jpg)

Now to answer a question from Mar G way back on my March calendar page (sorry for neglecting you for so long) I cut my stamped images out with both a craft knife and scissors, I use a knife for the intricate parts and scissors for the main parts ~ Now all come closer I'm only gonna whisper this little secret once~ when I'm cutting out really intricate bits like tails, antennas etc I cut it a bit larger than it actually is so its not too flimsy and then colour the white that remains with a black pen so you cant see where I've not cut it exactly~ you didn't hear that from me though right!

I decorated the inside with some cat footprints, patterned paper and an orange gem in the corner..jpg)
The papers are from Summertime Designs Boy Oh Boy kit, the image is coloured with whispers pens, flowers are prima, ribbon is from chatterbox, circles are cut with nesties and xcut shape cutter.
